Honestly, I’m not sad about the whole thing. There’s no point, and I’m hearing a lot of people saying the same thing about how V-Day is a waste anyway. If someone treats you like crap for 364 days and then acts all romantic one day out of the year, that person deserves to be kicked hard in the shins with steel-toed boots.
I’m getting myself wine and flowers tonight, and tomorrow I’m hitting the after-V-Day sales and getting some chocolate on sale half price. For today, I’m going to try not to act like Grumpy Cat. If I can do that, I’ll call today a success.
